Yesterday President Bush rescinded OFAC sanctions against North Korea also known as the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" or ISO 3166 country code "KP".

A second order was issued maintaining restrictions on United States person from registering, obtaining authorization for, owning, leasing, operating or insuring any North Korean flagged vessel.
